Every Sunday, 79 rural students attend the Nisarg open-class education, a transformative initiative designed to bridge educational gaps and empower young minds from underserved communities.
English and Life Skills: Ms. Sudha Gandhi leads comprehensive classes focusing on English language proficiency, communication skills, and essential life skills. Students learn practical vocabulary, grammar, and develop confidence in expressing themselves.
Mathematics: Expert instructors provide engaging mathematics classes that make complex concepts accessible. The curriculum covers arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and practical applications with personalized attention to strengthen foundational understanding.
Science Education: Ph.D. professors from the Happy2Care Foundation and partner NGOs teach science subjects including physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science with emphasis on hands-on learning and real-world applications.
Creative Learning: Every month, Team CHIP Nagpur volunteers plan innovative activities including educational games, group projects, nature walks, and interactive workshops that make learning fun and memorable.
Conservation efforts involving various college students, such as the construction of gabion structures and loose boulder structures, were planned. Additionally, these tasks involve maintaining plants, managing saplings from a forest nursery and de-weeding.
This pioneering and unique quiz competition of the highest standards conducted by CHIP is dedicated towards spreading knowledge and interest amongst school students from Vidarbha. Every year nearly 300 students from around 40-45 schools participate competitively to win the coveted championship. The event is graced by celebrities and government officials and the quiz is conducted by quizmasters of repute. This eagerly awaited event is marked in the calendars of every school in the region.
