Shruti Jain, Project Head of Nisargavedh, is a dedicated conservationist with an M.Sc in Sustainable Sciences and a second Master's degree in Environmental Science. A passionate birder and nature enthusiast, she believes deeply in the restorative power of trees the planet's natural purifiers and purposed gifts to humanity. In an era dominated by air towers and concrete skylines, she emphasizes investing in green infrastructure and ecological resilience by banking on nature-based solutions.
With her warm and effervescent personality, Shruti works assiduously and with quiet determination to transform forgotten, degraded landscapes into thriving forests that can gradually revert to their natural state. She fosters ecosystem revival through active civic participation, engaging students, communities and corporate partners in hands-on environmental action. As an ardent learner and compassionate individual, she aspires each day to serve as a valuable resource for the environment, inspiring a growing network of people to become more passionate and empathetic toward nature. Her vision is to leave a lasting crown of greenery like a banyan tree sheltering life through collective effort and enduring gratitude.
Project Advisor CHIP in Nagpur
Dr. Jaydeep Das serves as Project Advisor to Nisargavedh 2.0 at CHIP, Nagpur. Guided by the tenet of calling a spade a spade, his life journey has been shaped more by the wilderness than by the concrete landscapes of the planet. By qualification, he holds a PhD in Soft Skills along with an MBA and a BE degree, bringing strong corporate leadership experience into the realm of conservation.
An ex-Honorary Wildlife Warden of Nagpur District, Dr. Das has worked closely with the Forest Department and rural communities including tribals and villagers to promote sustainable livelihoods and responsible resource use. He actively engages youth and local citizens in environmental awareness and green initiatives, supported by his sound knowledge of environmental laws and policies. Through ethical guidance, community participation, and strategic partnerships, he helps ensure the long-term sustainability of ecosystem restoration efforts under Nisargavedh.

At a young and dynamic stage of his career, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and professional maturity. His strong command of digital media and editing tools allows him to capture the true essence of nature, projects and people presenting them with clarity, accuracy and emotional depth. With a keen understanding of ecological narratives and field-based conservation work, Mr. Akhare ensures that every visual and digital output reflects the authentic spirit of Nisargavedh.
His precise use of digital knowledge, especially while documenting trees, habitats and restoration activities, strengthens the scientific and educational value of our communication. Through his continuous efforts, creativity and technical expertise, he plays a vital role in connecting Nisargavedh's conservation initiatives with the wider public engagement and inspiring a deeper appreciation for nature and biodiversity.
Leadership Team
Mr. Sukesh Gandhi The Head of CHIP Nagpur and chief executive planner of Project Nisargavedh, a graduate of pharmaceutical science, made a humble beginning to his career in 1974 as a medical representative of a multinational pharmaceutical company. He established the organizations SUYOG and SOIL, which manufactured special chemicals for mining, the textile and paper industries, and many more. 'Forest Gandhi' is a modest person who always kept his foot grounded, even though he belonged to the fast-paced world of industrialists. He is the Great Banyan Tree of the organization, an aspiring green linchpin, and the foundation of this dedication.
Mrs. Sudha Gandhi The support system of CHIP, we have Mrs. Sudha Gandhi, who possesses a master's degree in English. She was the first female business owner of an Archies gallery featuring 'Ferns and Petals' in Nagpur. She started teaching lessons to rural children because she is incredibly enthusiastic about uplifting the community. Additionally, she fosters the wellbeing of the garden and forest nursery like she would look after her own kids.
Adv. Anand Jaiswal On the professional side of the spectrum, Adv. Anand Jaiswal is a senior advocate and former president of the Vidarbha Cricket Association. He is an exceptional lawyer who understands how to cross-examine witnesses brings out the facts of any matter with an ease which many cannot even fathom of. He has over 43 years of experience and the following degrees: B.A. (Hons), LL.B. and LL.M. (Constitutional Law). He was appointed Senior Advocate by the Bombay High Court in 2014.
